Areas of Focus

Rotary clubs around the world are united by a shared mission to create lasting change in communities locally and globally. Rotary International focuses its efforts on seven key areas that address some of the world’s most pressing needs.
These areas include promoting peace and conflict prevention, fighting disease, providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, supporting maternal and child health, advancing education and literacy,
strengthening local economies, and protecting the environment. Through service projects, grants, and partnerships, Rotarians take action to improve lives and build stronger, more resilient communities.
The Rotary Club of San Bruno proudly supports these areas of focus through hands on service, community programs, and global initiatives that reflect our commitment to service above self.

Through the club’s support, this memorial plaque at the Golden Gate National Cemetery honors the Gettysburg Address and preserves an important moment in history.

Thanks to the club’s contributions, the Rotary clock on San Mateo Avenue stands as a lasting symbol of community connection and civic pride.

Contributions from the club helped provide a trained police dog to support local law enforcement and enhance community safety.
